What is truly sickening, as well, is that the Khmer Rouge communists documented all their torture and killings. They took pictures of their innocent victims before or while torturing and murdering them. The Killing Fields is part of the legacy left by the Khmer Rouge in Cambodia. When Pol Pot and his murderous organization took control of the country, he tried to enforce his communist dream through a nightmare of fear and violence.
