TEN YEARS AFTER THE FALL OF THE BERLIN WALL, A GROUP OF RUSSIAN OFFICERS VISITED THE U.S. THEY TOOK A TOUR OF THE LOCAL COMMUNITY…
“The author couldn’t help but notice the rather solemn demeanor of one of the Russian officers…this Russian gestured around him. “All of my life, I have been lied to,” he said…”This thing,” the Russian gestured again to the wonder all around him: the pleasant homes; the constant flow of clean water; the dependable sources of energy; the cars; the free press; the ability of the citizens to gather and speak and write what they wanted; the fact that one did not need to be someone of know someone in order to succeed; the fact that Americans did not fear a knock on the door at night…” —Chris and Ted Stewart
FACT: ONEROUS TAXES, LAWS AND REGULATIONS ENSLAVE FREE MEN
“It is to deny what the history of the world tells us is true, to suppose that men of ambition and talents will not continue to spring up amongst us. Well, at a time when government approval rates are at their lowest in 60 years; a time when the digital age of information reveals many of the crimes and corruption going on in the higher ranks of power in our country; any thinking individual can easily conclude that these are just humans in these positions of power. And people are flawed. ALL of human history shows that power corrupts people and when given too much of it, people fight to the death to keep it.
“Look at the way that the Republican party treated David Duke vs. the Democratic party treating someone like Robert Byrd. The Republicans repudiated Duke. He was a controversial figure, they wanted to throw him out of the Republican party from the beginning. Robert Byrd was a hero in the Democratic party, even though it was well known that he had spent a good deal of his career in the Ku Klux Klan. When Byrd died in 2010, not so long ago, Hillary Clinton said “he’s my mentor.” Bill Clinton and Obama actually went to Byrd’s funeral. Obama didn’t touch the topic of his Klan membership…” —Dinesh D’Souza
